David Gibson, Ed.D.

Dr. Gibson is Founder and President of CURVESHIFT, concentrating on vision and project development, strategic planning, evaluation, professional network building, national partners, and telecommunications in learning. His research and publications in over 30 articles and book chapters includes work on complex systems analysis, modeling of educational systems and the use of technology to personalize education for the success of all students. He is the creator of "SimSchool" a classroom simulator to provide teachers and future teachers with practice in differentiating instruction. His web-based application "eFolio" provides online mentoring and electronic portfolios of evidence of meeting standards. 

Dr. Gibson is experienced in linking and coordinating efforts in professional development in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and educational technology, and in project and group development. Dr. Gibson helps plan and conduct planning processes with groups, and helps groups articulate their goals and make plans for action. He has extensive experience in managing technology development and using dissemination strategies through national educational networks.

Craig DeLuca

Mr. DeLuca is Founder and Treasurer of CURVESHIFT. He is also the Co-founder of The Arno Group, LLC, a business consulting and investment banking firm focused on growth strategies, mergers & acquisitions, and organization development.

Mr. DeLuca was the Co-founder and CEO of Schoolsuccess.net, an online-learning company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Schoolsuccess.net develops software for parents and teachers. Schoolsuccess.net was acquired in June 2001 by Pearson, PLC.

Prior to founding Schoolsuccess.net, Mr. DeLuca was President and CEO of Executive Perspectives (EP), a software company specializing in computer-based simulation models, serving Fortune 500 clients including Intrawest, GAP, Verizon, Microsoft, IBM, Ford, Xerox., Chase. EP was acquired in 1998 by Provant. Before EP, Mr. DeLuca was a strategy consultant with Gemini Consulting, a premier strategy-consulting firm serving the largest global enterprises worldwide. At Gemini, Mr. DeLuca developed business and marketing strategies for a broad range of clients in telecommunications, manufacturing and technology. Mr. DeLuca earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Wharton.

Mr. DeLuca has served on many corporate and non-profit Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards including, Executive Perspectives, Inc., Technology Strategies, Inc., Intercon Systems, Inc., Intervision, Inc., SecureHealth, Inc., Jumpstart for Young Children and Stowe Performing Arts.

Mr. DeLuca's community service includes Stowe Planning Commission Chairman, The Economic Development Council of Northern Vermont, State of Vermont Public Oversight Commission.

David Rocchio, Counsel (ex officio)

David M. Rocchio is former Legal Counsel to Governor Howard Dean, M.D., of Vermont, where, in addition to providing general counsel advice, he was responsible for designing - and executing - approaches to achieve the Governor's goals on the most critical policy initiatives.

Mr. Rocchio chaired the Governor's Development Cabinet and Criminal Justice Cabinet and was a senior policy advisor on complex issues, including the environment, energy policy and criminal justice matters. Previously he was a litigation attorney at Hale and Dorr in Boston and a special litigator for Vermont's Attorney General, where his specialty was the management and favorable resolution of complex litigation. Mr. Rocchio received his JD at Boston College Law School and his BA in Political Science from the University of Vermont.

Mr. Rocchio is active in his community. He has served as a volunteer member of the Mt. Mansfield Ski Patrol, Vice-Chair of the Stowe Planning Commission, served as a member of the Copley Hospital Advisory Board regarding reorganization of the hospital's core private medical practice groups and is a member of the State of Vermont's Film Commission.
