Data on learners, teachers and schools can be complex and unwieldy. One way to bring order to the data is to display it in maps, showing where things are happening, how things and events overlap, and the extent of coverage of events, processes, and resources. Data Maps such as those we helped create for the Equity Alliance at ASU are used to discover knowledge in complex data when a geographic component (e.g. a street address or other location on the globe) can help separate information for display.
